All positions are based on 38 to 48 hours per week commencing sometime in June or early July, depending on snow and business. Our terms and conditions of employment are based on Australian Workplace Agreements as lodged with Office of Employment Advocate and supplied if you are successful in being offered a position.

You can expect to work for around 3 months; this is once gain subject to snow and business.  Mostly you will work between a 5 and 6 day week with a mix of shifts. You may be asked to work in other areas if necessary and we always work as a team here. You must be prepared to work hard – this may be a winter resort with everyone else on holidays, but you are working and we expect a good days work for a good days pay.

Skiing and boarding are encouraged as a healthy activity, but your first commitment will need to be your job. We ask that you commit yourself for the entire season and that you have a mature and logical outlook on life.

We have an induction manual that will be sent to all successful employees outlining out rules and expectations, but a couple of things you should be aware of before applying. You cannot carry or use your mobile phone during working hours unless permission is given for emergencies. You must be friendly and helpful to both our guests and other staff, it is much more enjoyable if we all work together as a team. 

Accommodation is available in the hotel for a cost, which is discussed at interview, but will be approximately $195.00 for full board on mountain and $95.00 for bed only in our off mountain accommodation per week. On mountain it is 4 or 5 share per room and the off mountain it is 2 share and includes transport to and from the mountain. All accommodation is non-smoking, so please consider this before applying, you will need to go outside to smoke and smoke breaks are not provided during working hours.
